Ezgi Rozenshteyn Marriage & Family Therapist Associate, MA, MFT

We all embark on the journey of life at the same starting point. We travel down the road before us, trying to carve out a path that will lead us to the kind of life that will bring us joy.

However, there are times when that path leads us off the course of happiness and fulfillment, and into the unexpected.

Whether you're stuck in the woods of relationships, addiction, or emotions, it is possible to climb out and get back on track. I know it feels daunting now, but that is why you are here.

I will work with you to help you develop the strategies you need to get back on the path that leads to happiness and success. Together, we will work to address the issues you are facing so that you can climb out of those woods confident and ready to take on a new direction in life.

We will work closely to analyze what struggles you are facing, underlying causes, and try to change the behaviors and thought patterns that are keeping you from being the person you want to be.

If you're ready to get back on the path that leads to a more fulfilling life, then you've come to the right place. Contact me today so we can work to get you back on course.

My
Approach

As a cognitively oriented therapist, I believe that our thoughts significantly influence our emotions and behaviors. My approach focuses on helping clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns. I guide clients in developing healthier thinking habits and coping strategies.
In addition to cognitive therapy, I integrate several other therapeutic modalities to provide a comprehensive and personalized treatment experience:

  • Systemic and Solution-Focused Approach: I view issues within the broader context of family, relationships, and social systems. By focusing on solutions and leveraging your strengths, we can quickly identify effective strategies to address current challenges and create positive changes.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): This modality emphasizes accepting difficult emotions and thoughts rather than fighting against them. I help clients commit to actions aligned with their values, promoting psychological flexibility and a more fulfilling life.

  • Relational Life Theory (RLT): Understanding that our relationships profoundly impact our mental health, I incorporate RLT to address relational dynamics. This approach aims to improve communication, intimacy, and connection within relationships, fostering healthier and more supportive interactions.

In our sessions, we work collaboratively to understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions. I provide a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can explore your inner experiences and gain insight into the cognitive processes that affect your well-being. Together, we identify specific goals and work towards achieving them by restructuring negative thought patterns, enhancing relational dynamics, and fostering positive behavioral changes.
My goal is to empower you with practical tools and strategies that you can use in your daily life to manage symptoms and improve your overall mental health. By focusing on the present and addressing current challenges, we can create meaningful and lasting change. I am committed to helping you build resilience, enhance self-awareness, and achieve a greater sense of control and fulfillment in your life.
